Middle Cottonwood Creek Trail is in the Bridger Mountain range. These are the mountains we see from our house. This hike is nice because it is close and you only gain 500 ft in elevation if you go the whole way. Good for kids!

We were to be under a winter weather advisory within an hour of our walk.
I sold the kids on the hike because there was a bridge and a log crossing.

We stopped each time the trailed opened up next to the river.

After we crossed the log bridge, we were in a wooded area with lots of moss and green trees.
We crossed back and just beat the rain!
