Working on my close ups

Lately, it seems like all my friends are coming out of the wood works as photographers and are doing really cool close ups. You know the ones where the foreground is very sharp and the back ground is blurry. So, I decided to try a few of my own. I have no idea what I am doing, but here are some that turned out pretty clear.
