Our funky family picture

Sorry, but this is the best we could come up with. Maybe we will work harder at Christmas. This was taken at Dave and Crystal's apt. where we feasted for Thanksgiving. In our four years of marriage, I have never cooked a Thanksgiving dinner. Emily cooked for me the year before and cooked for us the year after our wedding, the next year we were in Texas and Soph was only a month old, and last year we double dipped at Heide and Steve's and Dave and Crystal's. The food this year was super yummy and the turkey was awesome. See below...

(p.s- if you click on this picture and make it large, you can see my bruise on my next from the thyroid biopsy. It is nice and yellowish--green.)
Doesn't look that large here...but in the smoker...
This thing was a beast. We think it was at least 30 lbs. This bird fed 7 adults, and one side wasn't even touched and the other side still had meat on it. They froze the second one and will split it with us when they get around to making it again.
Our little Soph.

Kevin's jealous of your turkey. He wants to kill his own too. Too bad we don't live closer...we could hang out, our girls could play, and our husbands could kill stuff:-)
